I'm Andrea, the designer behind Periwinkle Crochet.

My love for crochet began in 2009, inspired by a shawl my Nana had made. I learnt to crochet then made my version of the shawl.

As my skills grew, I began selling my finished crochet pieces at local markets, where I loved seeing people connect with handmade creations. Before long, I discovered that I enjoyed designing just as much as crocheting, so I made the leap from selling physical products to creating crochet patterns that makers around the world could enjoy.

Over the years I have taught many of my friends and family to crochet and I love being able to pass my passion onto other.

In 2026 I taught my first Textured Crochet class at the Crochet Guild of Australia's annual Crochet Convention and I look forward to having the opportunity to teach more classes in the future.
